Shaping an inclusive African Continental Health Data Governance Framework: A Multi-Stakeholder Consultation

Transform Health and Africa CDC will co-convene a multi-stakeholder consultation at the Africa HealthTech Summit (AHTS) in Kigali (taking place between 30 Sep and 2 Oct), as part of the Summit’s Digital Public Infrastructure & Sovereign AI track.

The two-hour workshop will gather input on the draft African Continental Health Data Governance Framework from governments, regional institutions, civil society, academia, youth and women’s groups, innovators and the private sector – the stakeholders who will implement it and be affected by it.

Recommendations from the session will be synthesised and presented at the Africa CDC Member State validation workshop (20-22 October), ahead of the Framework’s anticipated adoption at the AU Summit in February 2027.
