From Investment to Impact: Aligning and Optimising Digital Health Financing

Transform Health and UNICEF will co-convene a session at the Africa HealthTech Summit (AHTS) in Kigali (taking place between 30 Sep and 2 Oct), introducing a common framework for classifying and tracking digital health and AI investments.

The session will present the Digital Health and AI Investment Classification Framework – developed by Transform Health with a leadership steering committee comprising UNICEF, WHO, OECD, the World Bank and the Global Fund – and showcase early country experiences applying it to budgeting, investment mapping and planning. A panel of government, development partner and civil society representatives will explore how a standardised approach to classifying funding can improve visibility of investments across Africa, strengthen coordination and alignment with national priorities, and help unlock financing for greater health impact.
