Terms of Reference for Social Media & Marketing Associate

Transform Health, the global coalition calling for the digital transformation of health systems to ensure health for all, is looking for an experienced social media and marketing associate.

Verticals of work required: social media management, paid ads marketing, WordPress website management, Mailchimp newsletter management

Duration of work: 10 days a month from Feb 2023 – Feb 2024

of digital technology and increasing access to data. We campaign and collaborate with the individuals, communities, governments, organisations and institutions that are most affected by the lack of access to equitable, affordable and high-quality healthcare.

Scope of Work

We are seeking a Social Media Associate to support the Communications and Engagement Manager in the management of Transform Health’s social media platforms and website management as well as creation of social media content for our Executive Director, for 10 full-time days per month equivalent to 70 hours per month. The Associate will be expected to:

 

Task Estimated duration (hours per month)
Create monthly content calendar and dissemination plan for TH’s social media,
Executive Director and 3-4 profile champions

● Use Canva to make posters based on existing templates

30 hours
Manage posting on TH Twitter (5x a week) and TH Linkedin (3x a week) as well as
work with the Executive Director to manage posting of her Twitter and Linkedin accounts.
25 hours
Build Instagram profile and TikTok – content & dissemination planning & posting 15 hours
Manage Linkedin group posting and moderation 2 hours
Manage paid ad marketing at key moments (2-3x a year) 5 hours
Manage newsletters (4 a year + special event-related ones 4x a year) 1 hour
Manage website updates (3 WordPress websites)

● Adding new partners on TH website
● Adding new endorsers & community posts on HDG website

Upload blogs to TH website (2x a month) 4 hours
Create quarterly social media analytics
report
2 hours
Miscellaneous support 4 hours

Fee Scope

USD 1,200–2000 per month (for 10 days/month)

Profile and experience

We are looking for an experienced social media and communications manager, with a demonstrated ability to manage social media ad campaigns, WordPress websites, and who is familiar using Google Drive, Canva, Mailchimp and social media management tools.

The Social Media and Marketing Associate will report to Mathilde Forslund, Executive Director, who may provide for appropriate delegation to other contractors within the Enabling Function including Transform Health’s Communication & Engagement Manager and team members within our campaigns and advocacy functions.
