Terms of Reference – Branding, Design and Graphics Agency / Consultant(s)

Transform Health is a global coalition of organisations dedicated to achieving health for all in the digital age. Transform Health sets out to build a global movement that brings together organisations and institutions across different sectors, committed to achieving universal health coverage by 2030 by expanding the use of digital technology and increasing access to data. We campaign and collaborate with the individuals, communities, governments, organisations and institutions that are most affected by the lack of access to equitable, affordable and high-quality healthcare.
To amplify our impact and ensure a cohesive visual identity across all initiatives, Transform Health is seeking a branding, design and graphics agency/consultant(s) to:
- Update its visual identity in line with the design direction decided in consultation with the coalition secretariat, including the rebranding of associated initiatives; and
- Develop a distinct sub-brand for the new ‘Roadmap to 2030’ campaign in line with the rebrand exercise.
Expected duration
The expected duration of the project is ~2 months: between March and May 2025.
Scope of Work
1. Rebranding Transform Health and Associated Brands
- Conduct a thorough assessment of the current visual identities of: Transform Health (global and national coalitions), MyDataOurHealth, Health Data Governance (separate site and brand), Digital Health Investment and Young Experts: Tech for Health
- Update and redesign Transform Health’s visual identity to encompass and align all the initiatives (and brands) under the Transform Health umbrella, including:
- Logos
- Colour palettes
- Typography
- Visual assets and elements
- Consolidated brand guidelines for Transform Health and associated branded initiatives
- Ensure the updated branding reflects the coalition’s mission and values while appealing to diverse global and local audiences.
- Provide ready-to-use templates and tools to facilitate consistent branding across digital platforms, print materials and events.
2. Branding for the “Roadmap to 2030” Campaign
- Design a distinctive and cohesive sub-brand, aligned with Transform Health’s visual identity, for the “Roadmap to 2030” initiative, in line with the rebranding exercise.
- Deliver branding assets, including:
- Logo
- Core visual elements
- Templates for social media, presentations, banners, and other materials
- Develop a comprehensive style guide to ensure uniformity across all communications.
This will be an iterative process, where the selected agency / consultant(s) will be expected to work with the Transform Health secretariat and other relevant coalition stakeholders to understand their perspectives and the relevant use cases/applicability . The agency / consultant(s) will be required to present initial concepts and refine designs based on iterative feedback to ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations.

Experience and qualifications
The ideal agency / consultant(s) should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in brand design, particularly within the global health or international development sectors.
- Experience developing brands for organisations that work across cultures and in different languages
- A strong portfolio showcasing rebranding and campaign branding for non-profit organizations or coalitions.
- Expertise in creating visual identities that communicate complex missions effectively.
- Proficiency in design tools and software to deliver high-quality and adaptable branding materials.
- Excellent communication and project management skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
